Our Mission:

Hope Floats LI Inc. is a local non - profit 501(c)3 (application Pending) tax exempt organization which helps families on the South Shore of Long Island towns. Our goal is to help families affected by unfortunate circumstances such as medical, disabilities, loss, and other poverty situations. Our goal is to provide financial and logistical assistance for those families with children in need during difficult times.

Our Story:

Cofounders Theresa DePietto & Jennifer Aulino aren't new to not for profits.  Both being on Boards of Disaster Relief Organization designated for Superstorm Sandy felt the need to continue their good efforts to many more Long Island Families.  Jennifer Aulino's daughter Cathryn was diagnosed in 2014 with a rare genetic disorder called Craniosynostosis.  Her family was in need of  funds for surgery and expenses.  With the aid of many friends around her, Cathryn's Team had sprung into action and was able to raise these funds. Theresa was a big part of the team as well as Hope Floats entire board.  As a way to give back to their communities Theresa & Jennifer introduced the first inclination of Hope Floats Long Island, Inc.

Opening up a Health & Wellness program began with Theresa's daughter Ava.  She has a severe peanut & tree nut allergy.  Theresa and her giving spirit knew she needed to start this journey through Hope Floats Long Island and make an impact to educate and help bring awareness to schools.
